Mike Deibert and his wife Lauren (daughter of Ed and Barbara Partridge) are Advent-supported missionaries in Nicaragua. They spoke in Clingman Commons Friday, June 25th, noon-1:00 p.m., to a full house.
The Deiberts have been called to lead ESVO Ministries, an organization that focuses on vocational training as a means to teach young men and women of Nicaragua how to live and work in Christ. Programs for men include blacksmithing, welding, and carpentry. Women attend classes in jewelry-making, cooking, sewing, and leatherwork. Lauren and Mike also lead classes on biblical worldview, marriage, and family finances.
