The intent of Advent House Prayer Ministry is to glorify God and to edify others by praying together for the wholeness Christ desires in each person. This healing prayer ministry is Christ-centered, compassionate, and confidential. It is under the authority of God, Holy Scripture, and the Cathedral Church of the Advent.

Advent House is a center for prayer, teaching, and retreat. It is home year-round for the Advent House Prayer Ministry. Six weeks of the year it serves as meeting place for Cathedral Church of the Advent’s Grief Recovery Group led by The Rev. Canon Craig Smalley, Canon for Pastoral Care, and Mr. Gil Kracke, Licensed Counselor. Advent House is also used by visiting missionaries, seminarians, and guest speakers.
