Arts & Crafts for Outreach
First through fourth graders attend Arts & Crafts for Outreach on a rotating basis, when leaving the 9:00 service. Here they learn about outreach through action, creating items to give away. We work closely with the outreach program to supplement Advent ministries at home and abroad.
Bible Adventures
First through fourth graders attend Bible Adventures on a rotating basis, when leaving the 9:00 service. In the gym, they work on their Sunday School learning goals for the year through fast-paced, high-energy games.
Children’s Chapel (above)
3-year-olds through fourth graders sing, pray the Lord’s Prayer, and each Sunday we have an offering that is given to a designated outreach program. This year the offering will go to the Haiti Education Foundation where a donation of $55 provides one child with a full year of school, including a hot, nutritious lunch each day. (An offering for this is also taken in Arts & Crafts and Bible Adventures.)
Teenage Volunteers
Many teenagers volunteer once a month in Arts & Crafts for Outreach, Bible Adventures or Pre-K Sunday School. Young children love this exposure to the EYCers. If you would like to help, please contact Elizabeth Wilson, 226-3547 regarding Pre-K Sunday School, Bible Adventures, or Arts & Crafts.
