Sharing the Gospel – the good news of forgiveness, salvation, and new life in Jesus Christ – is the heart of all that we do at Cathedral Church of the Advent. Advent Outreach and Missions seeks to share the Gospel with people here in Birmingham and around the world through word and deed. We feed the hungry here in town with worship, Bible study, and food. We support missionaries in several foreign countries, some of whom risk their lives to share the good news of Jesus. We teach Bible studies to students of local schools, and support a Christ-centered upbringing for orphans in Bolivia.
You are all a part of these ministries through your annual tithes. The Advent spends over $900,000 annually on Outreach & Missions, or more than 20% of our annual revenue.
