Mr. Cameron Cole [L] is our Director of Youth Ministries, and Ms. Elisabeth Elliott [R] is our Associate Youth Director.
Cameron has a B.A. in Latin and English and an M.A. in Education, all from Wake Forest; and he is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Religion from Reformed Theological Seminary. He has been the Director of Youth Ministries since December of 2005. His ministry passions include mission trips, studying the Bible, discussing theology, hearing people’s stories, starting new programs, viewing the Gospel through the arts, and helping students and parishioners use their “everyday gifts” for the advancement of the Kingdom. Cameron is a founder of and regular contributor to the Rooted Blog, focused on the theology of grace-driven student ministry. He and his wife Lauren have a son, Cameron Jr., born in 2010, who recently signed an NCAA Letter of Intent with the University of Alabama Crimson Tide.
Elisabeth is a lifelong member of the Advent and a 2006 graduate of Mountain Brook High School. She graduated from Wake Forest University in May 2010 with a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Sociology. While at Wake, Elisabeth spent a semester studying in Granada, Spain, and two summers on staff at Camp DeSoto. She has also been involved with Reformed University Fellowship, El Buen Pastor Latin Community Center, and St. Paul’s Episcopal EYC. In the summer of 2009 Elisabeth served as a missionary in Costa Rica for two months. Elisabeth assumed her duties as Associate Youth Director on a full time basis in August 2010.
