It is my great pleasure to officially announce that Dr. Frederick Teardo, presently the Associate Organist at St. Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue, NYC, has accepted a call to become the next Director of Music and Organist at the Advent. He will begin on Sunday, November 4th.

I would like to acknowledge the very hard work of the Music Search Committee (John Goodman, Chairman; Ginny Anthony; Victor Hanson; Henry Lynn; Paul Mosteller; Katy Ottensmeyer; and Sam Urmey) that brought Fred in for a long, thorough interview and audition.
Fred’s coming to us has created a lot of excitement. It is clear to us that this is a man of God’s own choosing for the Advent’s music ministry at this time in our history. Soli Deo Gloria!
