A Thank You from Malawi

A word of thanks from Chisomo

In late September I had the opportunity to visit the Chisomo Orphan Care Center in Chididi, Malawi, a ministry partner of the Advent. Chisomo offers much more than orphan care, including early childhood education, sponsorship of orphans in primary and secondary school, support of the elderly and those living with HIV and AIDS, and pastoral counseling and evangelism.

What a gift to be a part of a church that supports Chisomo through giving and prayer!

Hear a word of thanks from Chisomo’s leadership:

“Partnership with the Cathedral Church of the Advent is a true example of the way God uses his disciples to help the needy and to spread His word in many communities throughout the world. The partnership has assisted and brought hope to thousands of children, elderly, and other vulnerable members within the Chididi community. In addition, it has proved to be a viable strategy to spread the word of God beyond the boundaries of Chididi. I truly believe that this partnership will grow stronger and will continue to bear fruits in the community and beyond.

Once more, let me sincerely thank our brothers and sisters of the Cathedral Church of the Advent for their continuous support to us. They will continue to be in our prayers. Thank you very much, and may God bless you as you continue to carry out your work in Malawi.”
