August 19 – 11:00 Refectory Service begins – Cathedral Church of the Advent

On Sunday, August 19, our additional worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Refectory (concurrent with the service in the Nave). It features a band leading congregational singing, with our clergy preaching and leading the liturgy every week. The fruit of many years of prayerful discernment, this new service is another opportunity available in the morning for the proclamation of the freeing power of the gospel.

Important information:

Please note that the Dean’s Class moves to the Nave beginning August 19.
For families who may wish to come to the 11:00 a.m. Refectory service: children (age 3 through 6th grade) may join their classes at 10:00 a.m., as parents can also attend an adult class. Contact Elizabeth Wilson (Elizabeth@CathedralAdvent.com) with questions related to room assignments, or stop by the Welcome Table on Sunday morning.
The nursery continues to be open for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years during the 11:00 a.m. services.
