Our Bishop, Kee Sloan, announced he will be retiring as bishop of Alabama by the end of 2020. By then the diocese will have elected his successor, allowing for some overlap before Bishop Sloan officially leaves.

Please join me in praying for Bishop Sloan and Tina, and for the Diocese of Alabama. The Bishop has been good to the Advent, and I count him as a friend. Suffice it to say, I will miss him very much.
