I am very sad to hear of Bruce Lietzke’s death. Lietzke was a model for me as a young golfer in making sure one’s priorities were kept straight. Though he could have been one of the greatest, Lietzke played a minimum of tour events (never dropping out of the top 75!) each year in order to spend time with his family at home. Sure, he could have been one of the great ones on the course, but chose to be a great husband and dad instead. He chose the better portion.
