Reluctant to Commit/Immensely Grateful
Two years ago, we decided to join a small group with other young married couples. While we were reluctant to commit to a weekly obligation, we are immensely grateful for our time with our group.
Since our small group started, it has enhanced our biblical knowledge, helped us feel more engaged in the church community, and we’ve gained new friendships. Most importantly, our small group has allowed both of us to form a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which in turn has strengthened our marriage.
We look forward to resuming our small group this fall and setting aside time each week to share God’s word. We encourage anyone looking for a way to feel more connected with the church, or wanting spiritual and social support for all the highs and lows of life, to consider joining a small group. You will not regret it!
