Thanks to the Members of the Visioning Process Planning Team

Many, many thanks to the twenty-five Adventers who are giving generously of their time and wisdom, towards prayerfully discerning the Lord’s vision for the Advent. The team is representative of the breadth and depth of the Advent, comprised of men and women from all four of our services. It is a mix of Advent old-timers and newcomers; current and former wardens and vestry; from all ages, a mix of parishioners and staff. The team has already spent hours together, working towards the discernment of our vision. We are grateful to each one:

From here, members of the Planning Team will continue to finalize this phase of the process and be a part of the upcoming Conversation Groups. Stay tuned for more information about those groups: we hope every Adventer will have an opportunity to hear personally about the process, engaging in the conversation and providing feedback. The groups (we hope) will begin to meet throughout the month of March, at different parts of the city and at different times of day, towards making it possible for everyone to attend.

This is indeed a time of excitement and expectation at the Advent. Please join us in praying for our church. “We have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” (Colossians 1:9)
