It is our privilege to welcome John Barclay to the Advent, for what will surely be a memorable weekend: March 20-22.
Formerly the Lightfoot Professor of Divinity at Durham University (England) and the doctoral supervisor of Dean Pinter, it is no exaggeration to describe Professor Barclay as one of the world’s foremost New Testament theologians, widely known for his groundbreaking work on the Apostle Paul. His influential book, Paul and the Gift, has reshaped contemporary scholarship on Paul and on our understanding of grace.
