The annual Parish Meeting will be Sunday, January 21, 10:00 a.m. in the Nave. This is a great opportunity for parishioners to hear directly from the Dean about “the state of the parish” – looking back over the past year and looking ahead to 2018 and beyond. There are also a few required parish reports, but they will be very brief.
Also at the meeting – and also very importantly – parishioners will elect 10 persons to serve on the Vestry and Chapter. The nominees are as follows:
Frank Anderson, Franklin Bradford, Anne-Marie Brown, Jim Bryant, Trudy Evans, Miller Girvin, Ford Hamilton, Tommy Kitsmiller, Anne Lynn Langloh, Frances Nichols, Craig Ogard, David Phillips, Bob Schuler, Charles Scribner, Steve Tilghman, Will Thuston, Bayard Tynes, Jim Williams, Jay Wright, Rita Wright.
If you’re at the 9:00 a.m. service, please stay for this meeting; and if you’re attending the 11:00 a.m. service, please come early for this 10:00 a.m. meeting. Early service and Five O’Clock regulars will also find it worth their while to make a special trip to attend this once-a-year important parish gathering!
We hope to see you there.
