Our Advent organists together will present a series in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of French composer César Franck’s birth, performing his complete works for organ over the course of three recitals. Associate Director of Music and Organist Charles Kennedy will perform Part 1 of the series on Thursday, October 13, 7:00 p.m. in the Nave. His program will include the works Fantaisie in C; Prelude, Fugue and Variation; Fantaisie in A; Cantabile; and Final.
Part 2 of the series, performed by both Dr. Kennedy and Director of Music and Organist Frederick Teardo, will take place on Thursday, November 3, at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Teardo will perform Part 3 on Thursday, November 10, at 7:00 p.m.
