Please join us at Cranmer House (2814 Linden Avenue, 35209) on Monday, April 14, at 7:00 p.m. to hear our Lenten Preacher, Daniel Stulac. A professor of Old Testament at Briercrest College in Saskatchewan, he will be speaking on “Why and How Should Christians Read Old Testament Tragedies?”.
Daniel uniquely combines and embodies excellent scholarship of biblical texts with theological rigor and incisive engagement with literature and art. What’s more, he presents this in a way that is not only understandable to us in the pews but is a deep and real encouragement in the gospel.
He is the author of several books, including The Gift of the Grotesque: A Christological Companion to the Book of Judges. Daniel and his family were members of Dean and Darlene Pinter’s church when they were in Moose Jaw. We hope you can join us and will bring a friend!
