No matter what circumstances we face, what challenges we have, or
what our feelings at the present time might be – fearfulness, anxiety, loneliness, hopelessness or despair – we can trust in the promises of God and his unchanging character, his mercy, his grace, his patience, his steadfast love and faithfulness. God prepared the way for us to come to him through the work of his Son Jesus Christ on the cross, his resurrection, and ascension. Christ is now seated on the throne of God, at the right hand of God, interceding for us.
In intercessory prayer ministry, we desire to glorify God and to encourage the faith of God’s people. As prayer intercessors pray on behalf of those of us who come for prayer, they are praying to God, the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ – trusting in his grace and in his healing, redemptive, life-giving power, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Please contact us, if you have questions about this ministry or want to schedule a prayer appointment. Currently, we may offer prayer sessions via Zoom or outside in the garden at the Advent House (2317 Arlington Avenue South, 35205).
