Streaming Worship Options

As we continue gathering for video stream worship on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. the Advent Communications team is highly interested in helping provide as engaging an experience as possible. We learn more each week about what works well (and what doesn’t) and we plan to continue making necessary adjustments to facilitate our services well during this season we find ourselves in.

Each Sunday, we will provide video streams of both our 9:00 a.m. service and the Dean’s Class. These services will be streamed on our website, using Facebook’s Live feature, and on Twitter. Feel free to tune in on whatever platform works best for you and if you experience issues on one of these channels, please try one of the others.

Beginning Sunday, March 22, we will have PDF bulletins available for adults, older children, and younger children, all of which may be found on our Worship this Week page. The bulletins for children provide activities to keep our younger members engaged during the worship service before Family Sunday School begins. Bulletins may be found each week on our Worship this Week page.

If you’d like to have both the service and the bulletin available to you at the same time, the easiest way to do this is to stream the service on one device (examples: smart TV or computer screen) and then also use a second device to follow the bulletin (examples: smart phones or tablets). If a single screen works best, these links can show you how to open multiple browser screens at once: on a Mac, on an iPad, and on most PC systems. If you’d like device-specific information, try entering this phrase into Google “how to split screen on _______” and fill in the blank with your device name.

If you have additional questions regarding how to access the worship service now answered above, please don’t hesitate to reach out by email to Communications@CathedralAdvent.com
