On Friday, February 17 at 12:30 p.m., our Midday Music Series continues with a 30-minute recital in the Nave by our own Charles Kennedy on the Advent’s recently acquired harpsichord.
He will present a program of music by English composer William Byrd, in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of Byrd’s death. Byrd was the most famous composer of his generation, noted especially for his keyboard works and sacred choral music, much of the latter written for use in the Anglican service.
