Our 2022-2023 Midday Music Series concludes on Friday, April 28 at 12:30 p.m., with a free, 30-minute recital in Clingman Commons by pianist Kevin T. Chance, Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Named Teacher of the Year by the Alabama Music Teachers Association, Chance has been hailed as “a superlative musician” playing “with musical conviction and muscularity.” Pianist Robbie James was originally scheduled to play this recital, but needed to postpone to next season due to unexpected personal circumstances. At her request, Dr. Chance graciously agreed to step in to perform.
The concert will also live-stream from the AdventBirmingham.org/Live, and from the Advent’s associated digital platforms, for anyone unable to attend, and be made available for later listening at any time. Please do not miss the opportunity to enjoy a half-hour of beautiful music!
