Young Adult Ministry
Welcome to Advent Young Adults!
We are grateful you are interested in the Young Adult Ministry here at the Advent. Our ministry exists to form disciples of Christ in a life-giving community. We hope to help you grow in your relationship with the Lord in any way we can, all while connecting you to other young adults at the Advent. Join us for weekly Bible studies, monthly socials, retreats, or our mentorship program. If you are a recent college graduate, we also have the Arc Fellows, a 10-month fellowship program to help grow your faith and connect you with Christian community (more details below). We are eager to get to know you and help in any way we can. Please do not hesitate to reach out! We look forward to growing in Christ with you.

Join us at the Barons Game on Thursday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. We’ll gather on the porch to watch the game, enjoy fellowship, and eat dinner.
Tickets are $15, and assistance is available. Your ticket includes entry into the game and dinner.
Join us for an evening of fellowship on Wednesday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Tommy Kitsmiller (3214 Cliff Road #8).

Recent College Grads
What is Arc Fellows?
Arc Fellows is a 10-month program for recent college grads living and working in Birmingham. As an Arc Fellow, you will get to grow in Christian community through weekly Bible studies, a service role in the church, mentorship, and monthly socials.
Why should I consider Arc Fellows?
Being an Arc Fellow will give you an opportunity to immediately get plugged in to a community and a church home as you transition from college —all while living and working in Birmingham! It is our hope that as an Arc Fellow, you will experience lasting Christian communion and deepen you relationship with Jesus Christ.
Who can apply to be an Arc Fellow?
Any youth adult, ages 21-24, who is living in Birmingham and desires to grow in their relationship with Christ and desires to have Christian community. Whether you were really involve din Christian fellowship in college or you see Arc as a chance to reconnect with the church and the Lord, we encourage you to apply.
How do I apply?
The Arc Fellows is completely cost-free and starts in August each year. Apply at the link below to join us for 2022-2023.
