We are delighted to welcome again Chad Bird for several days in November. An Old Testament teacher by training, Chad is the author of many books and is a well-known speaker and podcaster, possessing a rare gift as a teacher and communicator of the Lord’s gracious gospel.
On Friday night and Saturday morning, Chad will be speaking on themes from the life of Jacob, developing material from his Limping with God: Jacob and the Old Testament Guide to Messy Discipleship. On Friday evening, November 10, from 7:00 to 9:00, we will be at Red Mountain Theater. (Desserts and cash bar available.) Chad will be speaking on “Messy Discipleship: Deceitful Jacob as God’s Unlikely Man.” On Saturday morning, November 11, from 9:00 to 11:30, he will expand themes related to Jacob’s life, teaching in our Refectory. He will also be with us that Sunday morning, teaching the Dean’s Class.
