Connect with Others through
the Advent's Small Groups

Sometimes it is hard to develop meaningful friendships with other Christians, especially in a large church like the Advent. One of the best ways to form these connections is through the Advent’s small groups ministry.

Sometimes it’s hard to develop meaningful friendships with other Christians. We know God created us to be in fellowship with others, but we aren’t always sure how to form relationships with people who discuss deeper matters of life, faith, and doubt. We long to be a part of a church community whose members remind each other of the truths of the gospel, divide each other’s sorrows, and multiply each other’s joys.

Our small groups typically consist of 10-12 adults and meet regularly for Bible study and prayer, enjoying the close fellowship that naturally forms as a result. They provide space for our members to grow in faith and share their lives in ways that are not always possible on Sundays during our worship services and Sunday school classes.

“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.”  (Hebrews 10:24-25)
